This is the perfect eye look for hot summer days.
A nude, skin-tone shade
A gunmetal shade
A mint green shade
A soft black pencil liner
Start with a clean, primed eye.
Apply a nude, skin-toned shade to your lid. I used Wet ‘n Wild Brulee.
Smudge black liner into your top lashline, thickening the line at the outer corner.
Apply a gunmetal shade over the liner to smooth out the line. Pull the shadow out past the eye to create a soft cat-eye. I used the crease shade from the Wet ‘n Wild Nude Awakening palette.
Step Five – optional
Use a detail brush to apply a light, minty eyeshadow base above the winged eye. This is only to help the mint shade adhere to your lid – I’m using the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Icy Mint.
Pat a mint green shade atop the winged liner. I used the mint from the Wet ‘n Wild Going in the Wild palette.
Curl your lashes and apply mascara. You’re done!
You can substitute any colour you’d like for the mint – this would look gorgeous with a purple or buttery yellow. What do you think of this soft summer cat eye?
Yours in beauty,
